About Temple
You reach the temple complex of Shri Garbharakshambika Sameta Shri Mullaivana Nathar once you pass the temple tank. The temple has an entrance on the south side and a main Raja gopuram on the east side. Lord Mullaivana Nathar’s shrines and Goddess Garbharakshambika are located in the outer Prakaram. In the main sanctum, there is a Shiva lingam and a Goddess Garbharakshambika to the left of the Shiva temple.
History
Thirukkarugaavoor Mullaivananathar Sri Garbharakshaambigai temple The fame of this temple rests largely on the Goddess Shri Garbharakshambika (an avatar of Goddess Parvati), who protects the human embryo. Because of this, this temple attracts followers of all faiths.
The Shri Garbharakshambika Sameta Shri Mullaivana Nathar temple is spread over a wide area with huge towering Gopurams and a beautiful water tank in front. Coconut palms surround the temple and lend the place a serene atmosphere.
